ROSIE SARANDEVA JOINS APPLEBY FDN BOARD OF DIRECTORS. Born and raised in Bulgaria, Rosie graduated from Sofia University, and moved to the U.S. in 1998. She received her MS in Mathematics and in Computer Sciece at the University of Buffalo, where she met her husband George Sarandev who was then in Dental School. Rosie worked previously as an actuarial analyst, and as a credit risk modeler and manager at M&T Bank.
Today she is the Financial Manager for Ausable Dental Center for its three locations in Au Sable Forks, Lake Placid and Tupper Lake. She and George have two daughters, Kalina and Domenica who love the arts, and especially, dance and skating.

DAY OF INQUIRY Sat. June 24 12:45-8pm, invests in the development of women’s abilities, provides an experience to strengthen networks of support — including male advocates, and resources / tools for starting subsequent groups and projects together. The Day is funded in part by the Adirondack Foundation-Generous Acts Fund.
Local and guest leaders in the field will focus on three areas: Birth-to-Three / Early Parenting; Risk-taking & Decision-Making; the Women’s Suffrage Centennial in NYS and human rights. Each segment is approx 2-hours. Come for one, or come for all. FREE childcare provided during Birth to Three segment. A community reception is included, 5:15-6pm.
